Tommy Sneed has a reputation for selling quality cars in Clovis since 1966. That made 2016 the 50th Anniversary of car sales in Clovis. He started out in August of 1966 at Doc Stewart Chevrolet. And in 1969 he became the Used Car Manager for Doc Stewart and retained this position until he was able to fulfill his dream of being self-employed.
In 1978 he was finally able to open his own used car lot, Sneed’s Prince Street Auto, on the corner of Prince and 2nd Street, where he focused on selling pickups. Then he expanded by moving to a larger lot on 501 E. 1st Street across from the grain elevators and he included cars, vans and SUV's alongside pickups.
